Senior Flutter Developer (Lead)

We're looking for a Senior Flutter Developer (Lead) who is passionate about technology and innovation, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is dedicated to delivering high-quality work. At Mejix we invest in our engineers — you'll lead a focused mobile team, shape architecture decisions, and ship apps used by real customers across the US and Europe.
Flutter Developer Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in mobile application development, including at least 3 years with Flutter and Dart.
- Strong proficiency in Dart and a deep understanding of the Flutter framework and ecosystem.
- Experience with state management solutions such as Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or GetX.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience implementing responsive designs across devices.
- Familiarity with native iOS and Android development, and experience working with platform channels and native modules.
- Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and third-party libraries.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Previous experience with technical hiring and mentoring junior developers is a plus.
- Willingness to stay current with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in mobile development.
- Working experience with version control (Git and platforms like GitHub).
- Understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle and Agile development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Work with cross-functional teams — product managers, designers, and other developers — to identify requirements, design and develop new features, and maintain existing applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows best practices and established coding standards.
- Collaborate with the UI/UX team to ensure the design and user interface meet the needs of the end-users.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and other third-party libraries to enhance application functionality.
- Lead and mentor junior developers on the team, providing guidance and support so they deliver high-quality work and grow in their careers.
- Take ownership of projects and initiatives, ensuring they''re completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with the technical leadership team to establish coding standards, development processes, and other best practices that promote efficiency, quality, and collaboration.
- Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize and plan development efforts, ensuring the team is delivering value to the business and end-users.

- Involved in all phases of software engineering — inception, coding, testing, delivery, and operation.
- Develop high-quality code that follows best practices and clean code principles.
- Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with other engineers across all layers of the infrastructure to design and launch new features.
- Interact with clients to understand and characterize their needs and advise them when necessary.
