    The story

    What we built

A small team game for the 2026 World Cup knockout stage. Players signed in with an email code, picked a winner for every match, and locked their bracket before kickoff. Results arrived automatically from football-data.org and points were scored as each match finished.

    • • Points per correct pick: Round of 16 = 1, Quarterfinals = 2, Semifinals = 4
    • • Picks closed at kickoff; locked brackets got a shareable link
    • • Live leaderboard, pick stats and printable PDF brackets
